XH timing pulleys (7/8")

XH timing pulleys work with XH belts with a pitch of 7/8" (22.225 mm) - the largest inch profile in our range. The large belt teeth transmit high peripheral forces, which is why XH drives are used in very heavy industrial, construction and mining machinery.

7/8 inch XH timing pulleys made of C45 steel for quiet high-power drives

The XH belt carries loads at which smaller profiles would need very wide pulleys - the drive stays quiet and requires no lubrication. We make all XH pulleys from C45 steel, which withstands high torques and shocks well. Compliance with ISO 5294 makes it easier to replace pulleys in imported machines.

XH synchronous pulleys for 2, 3 and 4 inch wide belts - pilot bore and bush versions

XH pulleys grouped by belt width (200, 300 and 400, i.e. 2", 3" and 4"), and within each width - by mounting method. When should I move from the H to the XH profile?

When an H 300 drive cannot carry the required load. A larger pitch means a higher load capacity, but also larger pulley diameters.

Does an XH pulley fit an H belt?

No. The H belt has a pitch of 1/2" (12.7 mm), and the XH belt - 7/8" (22.225 mm). The pulley must have the same profile as the belt.
