L 100 Taper-Lock timing pulleys

L 100 Taper-Lock timing pulleys are designed for 1" (25.4 mm) wide L belts and are fixed to the shaft with a tapered taper bush. They are the widest L pulleys for bush mounting.

L 100 Taper-Lock synchronous pulleys - mounting without a lathe and without risk to the shaft

You mount the pulley without a lathe: fit it onto the shaft together with the bush and tighten the screws alternately until the bush clamps in the seat. The connection does not damage the shaft, and removal is just as quick. Smaller pulleys are made of C45 steel, and larger ones of grey cast iron. During machine inspections you can remove the pulley in a few minutes, and after refitting the bush centres it automatically.

Which bush should I order for a pulley with a 1210 seat?

A Taper-Lock 1210 bush with a bore equal to the shaft diameter. The bush size must exactly match the pulley seat.
