AT5 timing belts

AT5 timing belts have a trapezoidal tooth with a 5 mm pitch, reinforced compared with the T5 profile. They provide low backlash and accurate positioning, which is why they work in light linear axes, automation and measuring equipment.

AT5 timing belts - a wider tooth and motion precision maintained for longer

The wider tooth carries higher loads and wears more slowly than a T5 tooth of the same pitch, so the belt maintains its precision for longer. The drive runs without lubrication and without slip, which limits maintenance to periodic tension checks. A belt with the same designation replaces the original without modifications.

AT5 endless timing belts in various widths and lengths

Endless AT5 belts in several widths and various lengths, given in the product name. AT5 belts by the metre can be found in the Timing belts by the metre group.

What is the difference between an AT5 and a T5 timing belt - questions and answers

What is the difference between an AT5 and a T5 belt?

Both have a 5 mm pitch, but the AT5 tooth is wider and stiffer. An AT5 belt requires a pulley with an AT5 profile.
