HTD 14M timing belts

14M timing belts have an HTD profile with a rounded tooth and a 14 mm pitch. This is the largest HTD profile in our range, designed for transmitting high torque - in drives of heavy machinery, mixers, presses, conveyors and agricultural machinery.

HTD 14M timing belts - high load capacity instead of a heavy chain

The large pitch allows you to build a drive with high load capacity at a reasonable belt width, where an 8M belt would have to be very wide. The drive runs without slip and without lubrication, so unlike a heavy chain drive it does not require regular maintenance.

What is the difference between an open-ended and an endless belt?

An endless belt is a loop without a joint. An open-ended belt has free ends that are fixed to a carriage or joined with plates - it is used, among others, in linear axes.
