Module 6 plate spur gears are heavy cylindrical gears without a hub, with straight teeth and a pitch of 18.85 mm. They are used in low-speed, high-torque gear drives and paired with a module 6 gear rack.

The large tooth transmits very high forces, and the plate form lets you limit the weight and axial width of the gear. You can mount the plate on a shaft or bolt it to a flange. We make them from C45E steel, and a selected size also with induction-hardened teeth, designed for work under high contact pressures.
