20B-1 hub sprockets are simplex sprockets for 20B-1 chain of 1 1/4" (31.75 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. A single strand of such a large chain transmits forces sufficient for many heavy conveyors and construction machines.
20B-1 sprocket - match the transmission ratio and bore to your machine
A wide choice of tooth counts lets you select the transmission ratio without compromise, and you bore out the pilot bore for your shaft and add a keyway. C45 steel withstands shocks well, and selected larger sprockets can be ordered in grey cast iron.
20B-1 simplex sprockets in C45 steel, selected sizes in cast iron
20B-1 simplex hub sprockets in C45 steel with unhardened teeth, and selected grey cast iron sprockets. Ready-to-fit 20B-1 sprockets with a bore and keyway can be found in the Finished bore sprockets group.
Questions and answers: 20B-1 simplex sprockets
Can I bore out a large 20B-1 sprocket myself?
Yes, if you have a lathe with a suitable capacity. The bore must be concentric with the tooth rim, so the sprocket is aligned in the chuck by the rim or the hub face.
