20B-2 hub sprockets have two tooth rims and work with duplex 20B-2 chain of 1 1/4" (31.75 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. They are used in drives in which a simplex 20B chain runs at the limit of its strength.
20B-2 sprocket - strengthening the drive without rebuilding the machine
A second chain strand increases the transmitted power at the same sprocket diameter, which lets you strengthen the drive without rebuilding the machine. You bore out the pilot bore for your shaft, and selected larger sprockets are available in grey cast iron, which dampens vibration well.
