16B-1 simplex hub sprockets

16B-1 hub sprockets are simplex sprockets for 16B-1 chain of 1" (25.4 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. They run in the drives of heavy conveyors, agricultural and construction machinery.

How do I recognise a worn 16B-1 sprocket?

Worn teeth are pointed, have worn flanks or are hook-shaped. If the chain climbs onto the tooth tips or jumps teeth, the sprocket must be replaced.
