12A (ASA 60) sprockets

12A (ASA 60) sprockets are designed for 60 roller chain of 3/4" (19.05 mm) pitch to ANSI B29.1. ASA 60 chain is wider inside than the European 12B of the same pitch, so it needs its own sprockets.

12A (ASA 60) sprockets - no chain jumping and no uneven wear

A correctly selected ASA sprocket prevents the chain from jumping teeth and the teeth from wearing unevenly, which means a longer service life for the whole drive. C45 steel sprockets are easy to machine for the shaft, and for particularly heavily loaded drives you can choose a sprocket with hardened teeth, which wear more slowly.

Simplex, duplex and triplex sprockets (60-1, 60-2, 60-3) with a pilot bore hub, and plate wheels for welding or bolting on. A hardened sprocket is also available in the duplex hub version.

Sprockets for 60-2 chain and other questions about 12A sprockets

Can I use two simplex sprockets for 60-2 chain?

No. A duplex chain needs a sprocket with two tooth rims spaced exactly like the chain strands, i.e. a 60-2 sprocket.
