24B-3 triplex plate sprockets

24B-3 plate sprockets have three tooth rims on one plate and work with triplex 24B-3 chain of 1 1/2" (38.1 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. This is the solution for drives that must transmit very high torque where the machine has no room for a chain of a larger pitch.

Three chain strands share the load, so the drive is stronger at the same sprocket diameter, and a smaller pitch than 28B or 32B chains means smoother running. The absence of a hub lets you fix the plate exactly as the design requires: on your own hub, flange or drum - and later replace only the rim.
