20B-1 simplex plate sprockets

20B-1 plate sprockets are simplex plate wheels for 20B-1 chain of 1 1/4" (31.75 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606, for welding or bolting on.

On a sprocket with a small number of teeth, the chain links articulate more sharply and the motion becomes less even. Joint wear and noise increase, so in heavy drives it is better to choose a sprocket with more teeth.
