20B (1 1/4") plate sprockets

20B plate sprockets are flat plate wheels for 20B roller chain of 1 1/4" (31.75 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. Such drives work in heavy conveyors, construction machinery and raw material processing equipment.

20B (1 1/4 inch) plate wheels - a large sprocket without costly transport

You can build a large sprocket from a plate wheel and your own hub, avoiding the costly transport of a massive sprocket. A bolted-on rim can be replaced without removing the hub from the shaft, which shortens downtime. Simplex plate wheels are also available with induction-hardened teeth - a better choice for a driving sprocket transmitting high forces.

Does a 20B plate wheel fit ASA 100 chain?

No. ASA 100 (20A) chain has a different inner width and strand spacing. Sprockets for it can be found in the ASA sprockets group.

How should large plate wheels be transported and stored?

Preferably flat, with the teeth protected. Before fitting, remove the preservative from the surfaces to be welded.
