12B (3/4") plate sprockets

12B plate sprockets are flat plate wheels for 12B roller chain of 3/4" (19.05 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. 12B chain works in more heavily loaded drives of agricultural and construction machinery and conveyors.

12B (3/4 inch) plate wheels - hardened teeth in every strand version

In this size, plate wheels with induction-hardened teeth are available in all three strand versions, so you can choose a durable driving sprocket for any 12B chain. Only the teeth are hardened, while the centre of the plate remains soft - you bore the hole and weld the plate just as you would an unhardened one.

Machining a hardened 12B plate wheel - frequently asked customer questions

Is a hardened plate wheel harder to machine?

No. Only the tooth surface is hardened, so you can machine the bore and bolt holes with ordinary tools.

Does a 12B plate wheel fit ASA 60 chain?

No. ASA 60 (12A) chain is wider inside and has a different strand spacing. Sprockets for it can be found in the ASA sprockets group.
