06B plate sprockets are flat plate wheels for 06B roller chain of 3/8" (9.525 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. 06B chain is popular in light and medium drives of machines, conveyors and agricultural equipment.
06B (3/8 inch) plate wheels - bore them for a shaft, bush or hub
You can adapt the plate wheel to any design - bore it for a shaft, bush or hub and weld or bolt it on. A rim bolted to a flange can later be replaced without removing the hub from the shaft. For high-speed and dusty drives choose a plate wheel with induction-hardened teeth, which keeps its tooth profile longer.
06B simplex, duplex and triplex plate sprockets, simplex also hardened
Simplex, duplex and triplex plate wheels in C45 steel, in separate subgroups. Simplex plate wheels are also available with hardened teeth.
06B plate wheel vs ASA 35 chain - questions about 3/8 inch plate sprockets
Does a 06B plate wheel fit ASA 35 chain?
No. ASA 35 (06A) chain has no rollers and is narrower inside. Sprockets for it can be found in the ASA sprockets group.
How many strands should I choose?
As many as the chain in your drive has. In a new design, a multi-strand chain will transmit more power without increasing the plate wheel diameter.
