06B (3/8") Taper-Lock sprockets

06B Taper-Lock sprockets work with 06B roller chain of 3/8" (9.525 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606 and are mounted on the shaft using a tapered taper bush. This is the smallest size in the group, intended for light machine and conveyor drives.

06B Taper-Lock sprockets - fitted in a few minutes without a lathe

Fitting takes a few minutes: you insert the bush bored for the shaft, tighten the screws and the sprocket is ready to work - without a lathe or slotting machine. When changing the ratio, you remove the sprocket just as easily and fit another on the same bush. For high-speed drives choose a sprocket with hardened teeth, and large driven sprockets are also available in a lower-cost cast iron version.

Simplex, duplex and triplex sprockets, each in a separate subgroup. We make the sprockets from C45 steel, in simplex and duplex versions also with hardened teeth, and the largest sprockets additionally in grey cast iron.

Reusing the bush - questions about 06B Taper-Lock sprockets

Can I use the same bush after replacing the sprocket?

Yes, if the bush is not damaged and the new sprocket has a seat of the same size. Clean rust and grease off the taper before fitting.

Does a 06B sprocket fit ASA 35 chain?

No. ASA 35 (06A) chain has no rollers and is narrower inside, so it needs sprockets from the ASA sprockets group.
