20B-1 finished bore sprockets

20B-1 finished bore sprockets are simplex hub sprockets for 20B-1 chain of 1 1/4" (31.75 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. This is the largest size in the finished bore group, designed for heavy, low-speed drives.

20B-1 finished bore sprockets - quick repair of a heavy conveyor

With such large sprockets, boring and keyway cutting mean a lot of work and high cost. You fit the finished sprocket straight onto a keyed shaft, which shortens the repair of a conveyor, winch, or forestry and construction machine. A large pitch with a small number of teeth gives a compact, high-strength driving sprocket.

Is a sprocket with a small number of teeth suitable for a fast drive?

It is not recommended. With a small number of teeth the chain runs less evenly, so such sprockets are used mainly in low-speed drives.
