10B-2 finished bore sprockets work with duplex 10B-2 chain of 5/8" (15.875 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. They have a machined bore and keyway, so you fit them without any machining.
10B-2 duplex finished bore sprockets - more power and no machining
A duplex chain transmits considerably more power than a simplex chain at the same sprocket diameter. A finished bore saves time and costs, which with a duplex sprocket - wider and heavier - would be higher than usual. The sprockets are made of C45 steel.
10B-2 sprockets in C45 steel with a machined shaft bore
10B-2 duplex sprockets in C45 steel with a finished bore - the bore diameter and number of teeth are given in the product name. The full choice of 10B duplex pilot bore sprockets can be found in the Hub sprockets group.
Moving from 10B-1 to 10B-2 - questions about finished bore sprockets
When is it worth moving from 10B-1 to 10B-2 chain?
When a simplex chain stretches quickly or breaks, and there is no room in the machine for a larger sprocket. Remember to replace both drive sprockets with duplex ones.
