FV and M conveyor chains

Conveyor chains are long-pitch chains designed for moving material rather than transmitting drive. They work in heavy conveyors, feeders, bucket elevators and scraper conveyors - slowly, but under heavy load and often in dusty conditions.

FV and M conveyor chains - fewer links per metre of a long conveyor

A long pitch means fewer links per metre, lower mass and a lower cost for a long conveyor. You choose the version to suit the conditions: a bush is simple and less sensitive to dirt, while a roller reduces friction and guide wear. Chains with angle attachments let you fit scrapers, buckets or slats straight away, without welding. We make the chains from C45 steel, with components hardened separately before assembly, and selected chains are also available in a galvanised version.

FV, M, MC and MT conveyor chains - with a bush or with a roller

FV and M series chains (ISO 1977) in bush or roller versions, also flanged, chains with angle attachments and the MC and MT series. The number in the series name indicates the approximate breaking load in kN, e.g. FV63 is about 63 kN. The full designation also includes the pitch and roller type.

FV90 is the chain series, p=100 - a pitch of 100 mm, and roller 30 mm - the diameter of the roller that rolls along the guide and engages with the sprocket.
